Feed life to your body!

“There are so many wonderful tastes, spices, and colorful foods available that it is amazing to me that I settled for the colorless, tasteless, processed nutritional wasteland that constitutes the average American diet for so many years of my life.”

Your Workshop Facilitators:

Leanne Kuhlman, Licensed massage therapist and Owner- Spring Lake Massage Therapy & Wellness Center PLLC

Leanne has been a licensed massage therapist since 2010. She is also a landscape architect. Massage therapy became a beloved second career. The two professions meshed because of her desire to help others. Living her entire life at a weight that was not supportive to her active lifestyle, she has dedicated herself to becoming more healthy. Change has not come easy, but the pieces are finally in place. She is not a nutrition expert, but she has learned all along her clean eating and healthy lifestyle quest and desires to share her experiences and gathered knowledge with you to help you on your journey to improved health!

Sasha Brown, Holistic Nutrition Practitioner, Researcher, Raw Foods Chef and Owner- Holistic Habits LLC

Sasha Brown- “My path to an ever increasing experience of quality health began while attending Washington State University, when the often negative way I felt physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually pushed me into exploring “alternatives” to traditional healthcare. Awakening to the vast world of information from a holistic perspective opened up into an intense, 7 year, snowball/spiraling experience of research, personal experimentation, and more research. Realizing that adopting a plant based diet had one of the most noticeable effects on my overall wellness and ability to heal, I expanded my professional skills by learning to prepare raw food recipes at Thrive, the first Raw Vegan restaurant in Seattle, in addition to fulfilling a raw chef internship with Chef Adam Lewis, owner of House of The Sun, in Bellevue, WA.”

By combining research from peer-reviewed and scholarly articles, respected medical groups and professionals, credible newsletters, books, wellness clinics, personal experimentation, and time tested wisdom passed on from ancient cultures, we serve the public by consulting and presenting informational, demonstrative courses on an individual and small group basis.

The workshop class meets once a week in the evening for three consecutive weeks. Each class meeting time is 2 hours in length. The first hour of class is topic discussion and the second half is hands-on delectable food preparation. We will provide the instructions for each food lab for you to take home. Following the completion of the 3-week workshop, we are available via email to answer any questions, make suggestions, and provide encouragement! The occasional awesome recipe may be thrown in for good measure!
