Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage manipulates the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue to release chronic, severe muscle pain and tension. Very firm pressure is applied, with slow movements, and focus on the particular problem area(s). Areas that are causing chronic pain and eventual limited mobility are inflamed and have constructed adhesions in the muscle tissue. The massage therapist works to loosen those adhesions and allow oxygen rich blood flow to reach the area.
